Daisy Bank Deli & Point Store sits quietly on Oyster Point Road in Banora Point, serving as a mix between a local coffee spot and a general store. It’s the kind of place where you’re as likely to pop in for a strong, well-crafted coffee as you are to grab a simple but filling breakfast featuring a unique German twist—think fried eggs paired with hearty bacon, sausage, cabbage, and hashbrowns. This blend of café comfort with a touch of home-style cooking feels unpretentious and practical, catering well to locals looking for a relaxed start to their day.

The atmosphere here is grounded and welcoming rather than flashy. Regulars include nearby residents who come for their morning caffeine fix and a bite to eat, as well as visitors passing through East Banora Point. A casual weekday morning or a laid-back weekend brunch time seem to suit the spot best, when the sun filters gently through the windows and the bustle is just enough to keep the place lively without feeling overwhelming.

Though modest in size, Daisy Bank offers a range of fried snacks and sandwiches alongside classic café staples. There’s a bit of an old-school general store vibe with items like battered fish and chips, sea salt and pepper squid, and wings packs available, which leans into its dual identity as both café and point store. The place is not just about coffee but about quick, straightforward meals—many with a local or slightly international twist that adds a bit of character without sidelining simplicity.

Service here is noted to be warm and attentive, the kind of friendly efficiency that helps establish regulars and neighborhood familiarity. If you bring a dog along, expect a welcoming nod toward your furry friend as well, reinforcing its role as a community hub rather than just a café.

In short, Daisy Bank Deli & Point Store feels like the local haunt for those who want their coffee fix combined with a substantial, unpretentious breakfast or snack. It’s particularly suited to the Banora Point crowd—families, folks with time to catch up casually, or anyone drawn by that blend of café convenience and a general store’s practical offerings. Visiting mid-morning or lunchtime offers a snapshot of local life where the menu’s nod to German-style breakfast and hearty servings stand out as a point of difference in the area.

This quiet little corner store/Cafe is my wife and I go to for a cheeky breakfast or dinner. The staff are amazing and always serve with a smile. The seating inside is cozy with a lovely painting and an even better view. Outside options can be a little weather dependant but when you can sit out there and enjoy the view and sleepy atmosphere. The food is always great. You know exactly what you are getting and that is quality every time.
